Surprise Party!
So today I threw Christie a surprise party for her 18th birthday! Her birthday is actually the 29th. I called about 30 people and invited them to come to the bowling alley from 2-4pm today. So I had talked with her aunt and planned to have her aunt get her to the bowling alley by 2pm. Christie calls me about 1pm just to talk about some stuff and I ask her what she's doing this afternoon. "Oh I dunno I'm still in my PJ's and I have to clean several rooms this afternoon." Ok so by now it's 1:30 and inwardly I'm screaming "She's not showered or dressed yet!!!!" So I make up this story where I need to go shopping or even try on prom dresses at the mall. So I rush over there and find both her and her sister in their bath robes completely not ready! And it turns out we have to clean both their rooms and the kitchen before we can leave (Parents rules who are out of town!) So by the time we got all of that done and out the door it was 2:15. ok so not bad everyone is cool with waiting for the birthday girl. She was so surprised when we pulled into the parking lot and saw everyone's car there! It was great! We had fun and about 15 people came so it was a fairly big crowd for bowling. Sheww!
