WOW has it really been a month since I last wrote in my journal? I'm ashamed. I knew it had been a long time but a whole month! Thats crazy! I just got done playing in the West Jackson Baptist Church's Christmas thingy (called "Sounds of Christmas"). It was kinda hard, I was playing lead horn and had a couple solos and I've never played in front of that many people and on TV before... which made it even harder. We have another preformance tomorrow and sunday night. Sunday afternoon I also have the Paris Youth Symphony Concert at 2pm. It'll be a long day. Exams start next week! I'm kinda stressed out but not nearly as bad as the past two weeks! I thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown with All-West auditions (which I made!!!), my car broke down and I had to wait almost 3 hours for a tow truck, the SAT II, a billion tests and two projects at school, the Jackson Youth Symphony Orchestra concert, USJ's school concert, the Jackson Christmas Parade and if that didn't seem like enough I had to finish all my applications so I could turn them into the school on time. All that has happened in the past two weeks... So maybe now you can understand why I haven't written in my journal for a while. Ok now I'll back up to what I did for Thanksgiving. We went to the farm in east Tennessee where we met my dad and on Thanksgiving Day we saw the entire side of my dad's family (including Aunt Linda and Alex whom I have't seen in 6 years!!) It was alot of fun! Then we went back to the farm and hung out with my Aunt Teppie and Uncle Bud. On saturday we drove up to Blacksburg, VA and saw the UVA vs. VA Tech game (which was awesome!). So now I think I've recapped pretty much all I can remember (or care to share at the moment) about what's been going on the last month. Right now I'm starving and must go find food!
