That's a good point about former wars. There has been dissension in every conflict. In a diverse society/world we're never going to all agree. Good historical perspective teaches us that we may not know the whole truth about the present problems in our life time if ever and the winners write the history books.
On your second question. I am no Michael Moore fan. I did not see the movie but have read the debunking and then the debunking of the debunking.... The Path to 9/11 is for the most part things I have heard through the various news media I watch and listen to. Most of it is well documented and the disclaimer at the beginning covers what they had to do to make hundreds of pieces of information into a 5 hour movie. If there are a few changes on who said what and when to make the story flow I don't have a problem with that. I think a lot of people don't want to face the truth of what is going on in this world and maybe watching this type of program will wake them up. That's enough of politics and world news for me. I'll climb off my soapbox now. Thanks for your insightful comments.
