The cat ate my homework
If you should happen to see me chasing my enormous cat about screaming something about tennis rackets, you should know that the damned little beast, not content with chewing on plastic bags like...an animal which really shouldn't be doing such a thing, but has also chewed the power cord to my laptop, which is now mangled beyond all recognition.
Amazon was only slightly less annoying and brainless, as MLW and I attempted to pay for our purchase of a new AC adapter twice before they decided to a) accept it on the third try and b) tell us that they weren't doing so the first two times.
Anyway, on a different note, there is an upcoming town hall meeting in Columbia from 7-9 p.m. on the 18th. No, it's not one of those you have to bring tea bags to; it's more the opposite. And despite my daughter's name being on there, my sister - who didn't want "any of those weirdo Greens" there - is the organizer. :eyeroll: So, details are below.
