A crazy day. The morning and afternoon, for I woke at both times, opened with a collision within my calendar: Kid-2 had an audition, but I had to get to papertigers and debboamerik's place to help them move. diplomacy - looks to be interesting. also, I would not be very good at it...
conspiracy theories - oh, don't worry, I may be young and I might not remember Watergate - but I do know about it. some of them are patiently ridiculous but others make you go hmmm....
rock and roll will never die! -cue the guitar rifts-
women - girl-watching! yes! -grabs net and binoculars-
documentaries - some of these are good, some are disturbing, some are both. I find the ones that focus on various parts of the human condition just fascinating.
sea shanties - grew up on the coast on NC, I could look out my bedroom window and see water (it was the sound and not the ocean but I could hear the waves lapping on the shore) and I know a lot more of them than I probably should. also: http://www.arrr.net/shanties/ just for you...
