Rules look good - is an LJ community the best way to do this? Perhaps a Wiki or something of that nature?

You might want to clarify rule #6 a little - there's a lot of weird out there which could be "analagous to modern day" which would include elves (invisible sex elves in Iceland), vampires, ghosts, and aliens. So, can I have a character who believes that they are a vampire, and acts accordingly? Or that there are aliens? How about an occultist who practises black magic, with or without expected results? What are the limits?

Also, are lurkers allowed? I'm not sure I want to/have time to play consistently, but I'd like to watch.

A Wiki might be a very good way to do this. Or we could have both.

I suppose the limits would be that this is supposed to be about how we might realistically do some of this stuff. Yes, there are a few things we have to suspend in order to get it off the ground, but it's not about witches and boggies and robots. ("Invisible sex elves"?)

And watching's fine, as would not playing consistently be.

That's about the only possible response, I agree.
