Hi,
My mood has improved considerably now that it is June. Seasonal Affect Disorder aside, I think the sun just makes everyone feel alot better. I feel like everytime I'm outside I get sunburnt; but such is the current state of things with me. I'm counting down the days until I begin to kill myself over finals. Not so much killing myself studying; just killing myself not wanting to go to them. I'm sure everyone else feels the same way, besides the lucky seniors who have no finals.
This week was not exciting. I chose that rather than "boring" because I fear I've been bored way too much latley, which is no one's fault but my own. On Tuesday, my brother came home from visiting his girlfriend with 2 fantastic surprises. The first was a nice backpack for me. The second was an advance copy of the new Coldplay CD. His girlfriend's cousin helped produce something with Coldplay and MTV, and that is how I got it. It's such a great CD.
Wednesday, I left school briefly to go purchase Meg and myself some tickets to see Coldplay Sept. 1 at Darien Lake. I got some presale ones, so I think we've got good seats.
Friday, Meghan and I went to dinner in Canandaguia [Wegmans]. Then, when Meghan's Wappachino (That is, a Wegman's Frappuchino) sucked beyong belief, we decided to go to Victor so we could go to the Starbucks there. Meghan got her Frappuchino, but there was no iced coffee for me. It turned into an inpromptu shopping trip, but I did not shop because I was going to the mall the next day. I saw Lauren Spates and Laura Fratangelo in Express. I overcame my really bad social skills to talk a little with them. Meghan and I drove back, went to Wegmans, made a smoothie, were moderatly depressed about prom. Congrats to Kathy, by the way. From what I hear, everyone who went looked very nice and stuff. I went to bed kind of early.
Saturday, I got up, ran, and went to the mall with JP. There were lots of good sales. We ran into DVD theives who stole DVDs then tried to resell them to the store. I got American Pie and Elf, to boost up the comedy section of my collection. We ate some dinner, got ice cream, then drove home. Me, JP, and Corey watched Anchorman that night, which they are obsessed with. It's funnier the second time, actually.
I went to church today. The choir was there, and I liked them, but other than that, it was excruciatingly boring, as always. They should really throw some action stories into the Bible to hold the reader's interest. God is probably sharpening his lighting bolts for me, now. Sorry. I laid outside in the sun, read a little, washed my car, nothing very exciting. I am excited for the last week! If you made it through this entry, you should get a medal.
