You like fighting, huh? Funny, you don't really look the type.

You shouldn't judge people by their appearance.

That depends. How much do you like fighting?

I like fighting the same way I like eating or flying. There are very few laguz who don't enjoy a good fight. I'd like to say it's part of our nature.

Aya arrived at their decided battlefield before Tibarn did. Then again, she was there about ten seconds after she had described the location to him, so it stood to reason.

Aya stood, balanced precariously on one leg, on the top of a tree, a good distance out of the village and in the heart of the forest. Her perch gave her a good view of the surrounding woods, as she waited for her opponent to find her.

Tibarn arrived soon after, spotting Aya almost immediately. He was glad for a chance to stretch his wings and keep his combat skills sharp. He accepted the reality that he could disappear at any time, and when that happened, he needed to be in fit shape--his world was at war, after all. At least it had been.

Hell, none of that even mattered. Peace or no, Tibarn would maintain his ability regardless.

He grinned. "Come at me whenever you're ready."

Was he trying to give her a head start? He may regret it.

"Well, if you really thi--" Aya interrupted herself in mid sentence by springing towards Tibarn at reckless speed with a flying kick.
