what a weekend!
whew! well after a good bye drink with a girl from work who's leaving, jeff and i were off to the hotel on friday. we went to the marriot pinnacle downtown, and we got upgraded to a really nice suite. 29th floor, harbour view...with the sunny weather the veiw was breathtaking. we really do live in an amazing city! we pretended to be tourists and had a wicked time shopping on saturday. everything was on sale...it was great!
and then the big proposal. okay, so it wasn't a big proposal, but a proposal nonetheless. i was really irked that there weren't ring shops open at 4am on sunday when i woke up! er...excited much?!? but i found one i really love, and i don't want to give it back to them to get sized. dammit! i need to get downtown on a weekday for it. which is no easy task!
so now life is back to normal. starting my word processing class tomorrow. ugh. three hours a week formatting documents. BLAH! i'm not looking forward to it at all! but i think it might make my life easier at the very least. and that is always good!
