Common - I Am Music
Yes, it's a song from Common's under-appreciated album "Electric Circus." I'm not saying the whole CD is hot shit, but there are definitely a handful of good tracks on there. People tend to overlook (or even look down upon) this CD because it's not what you would expect out of one of hip-hop's greats. It was different and unique in its own way, but I guess that's what appealed to me.
Or maybe the nostalgia factor.
Anyway, if you look under the /files dir, you'll also find "Come Close to Me," the first single off the album.
