weekend nothingness
i had a lazy weekend. friday we got chinese and then watched lost.
saturday james had to work so i cleaned the house a bit, then watched lost. that night we went out for a drink with mike at buffalo wild wings. i've never been there before, but it is an ok place. nice outside eating area and veggie options as well.
sunday we did lawn work, went to targie, and watched more lost. can you tell i'm obsessed?
in other news, lex is adjusting better than expected to the crate. we don't know if it has anything to do with her pills, or if maybe she was crate trained as a puppy before being fostered. it is strange because she will go into it to drink and eat sometimes too. and she doesn't usually fight us to go into it. the pills aren't supposed to really show effects until close to a month. anyway, at least we don't have to worry as much about what we will come home to.
i did finally go through the mess os papers she had eaten on the day she ate all the heartguard. i had bought a hanging organizer specifically so i could put important documents in it, out of the dog's reach. well, i had put my tax statements in it, and of all the papers in the organizer she had to eat those. i had to tape them back together. fortunately, these are just the copies for our records and i don't have to send them to the irs. if i was in school, the phrase "the dog ate my homework" surely would apply.
