Long time no real post
I'm bored now that I've beaten my second RPG in two weeks so I decided to post. I beat Fable less than a week after buying it and then I rented Sudeki and beat it in the 5 days I had it. And I didn't even play it at all yesterday because I was being a macho/geeky friend. I helped Denise move furniture and then immediately went to Radwa's to help her install her new RAM.
Radwa's birthday was Friday and since she called my present adorable, but didn't explain what it was, I will. I'm sure you've all seen the "Kitten killing" email with the little purple thing chasing the kitten. Well, I happened to be surfing around about a month ago and came across a japanese site that was selling the little purple thing. It's called a Domo-kun and it was the mascot of some official Japanese agency. Like their FCC or something.
We went to the Dart Room for her b-day stuff since Dickson was crazy because of BB&B. We were just about the only ones there, but I managed to avoid Casey most of the time. Radwa and I mostly played darts while they played pool. Billy showed up after a while and we went to Applebee's. I made sure that she was sober before she went home.
When I was helping her install RAM yesterday it inspired a deep urge for me to have new RAM of my own. I found a company online that has been making RAM since '89 so I figured it was fairly reliable even though it was really cheap ($39 for 256M of PC2700 SDRAM). It will be here in 5-7 business days.
I find myself lusting after other people's technology a lot lately. Her iPod made me want one too even though I'd never use it. And they are $300, so that's out of the question anyway. At least until I pay off the Xbox.
Dash (my kitten) has been really sneezy the last couple of days and I'm not sure why. I suspect he might have a hairball because that's what the symptoms seem to match most closely, so I bought some anti-hairball stuff just in case. On the plus side, he has mostly just wanted to snuggle since he hasn't been feeling well. He may be faking it in case it will get him out of getting neutered week after next.
