DAY FROM HELL
Well...today was a rotten day all around. I can't discuss specifics cause it's confidential, but let me just say it was one of those "pour me a damn drink bartender and just let me forget everything" kinda days. I left work thinking I'm just gonna go home, have a drink and chillax on my couch.
I drive home to find out there is a gas leak cause the construction workers have jackhammered through a gas line and the gas is coming into our building. So Mel the cat and I all go hang out in the front. Both of us are getting hungry and it is too smelly to come back into our apartment. We can't open the windows because the gas leak on our side of the building. Mel and I then took off in the car and Tiki nicely slept in the front seat while we got a small bit to eat on the drive. Came back home at 8:30pm to find out the guy from the gas company came into light the pilot light on the building boiler system and essentially just about blew up the building cause he had the gas turned up too high and lit fire in a room full of gas. Apparently, the boom was so huge that the building shook and he was literally blown right out of the room.
This sounds like a something out of a really bad movie, but really it did happen. I just wanna take a shower go to bed and end this horrible day!
Although with my luck, the shower nozzle will break as I turn on the shower.
I hope that I am not really high for my meeting tomorrow morning.
