"I'm sorry Faith, I know you know what crossed my mind when I thought of you two meeting. I know you're different now, but your track record isn't so good. I'm a schmuck, my bad."
I nodded in reply and just shrugged. It was alright, I knew my track record and well, it wasn't that great.
"Anywho, I'm not sure yet when he is coming, soon I hope, I

"hey boy, come here!"
I flinched, what does she want. She hadn't even killed this being and she wanted to chat. I stare at her a moment trying to think of her purpose. I walk over to her and put on show.
"Wow you're strong. Do you get into like bar fights and stuff?"
I hoped that this would set her off or something. I was getting wherry of this little show.

"My tea is getting cold and slimy," she said, her voice still louder but her finger lowering from her temple and to her lips, her tongue poking out from between them and delicately licking the blood the tip of her fingernail.

"Hey," I yelled, "Just going to cause yourself harm or are you actually going to do something fun?" I turned to my side and still kept an eye on her.
"So, lightning eh?" I said to the boy as I still watched the vampiress act like a crazy bitch. Shall be a kickass kill, that's for sure!

"Yeah I sometimes do that I don't know why. I think I'm like so totally - " I thought for a minute about the foolishness the kids talk about in the cafe. "- like an X-ranger "
No that was wrong what was it. I really wish That the vampire would chime in. It was X something, it hit me. "I mean X-men!"
I felt quite relieved to actually know it. I smile as If I had achieved something. I spit on myself for actually liking some part of this form.

"Fun," she hissed, and charged Faith. Faith, of course, blocked her first attempt to punch her in the stomach, but Dru managed a good punch across Faith's face. She grinned, waiting for Faith to make the next move.

I watched the vamp charge at me and I gave her a quick punch to her stomach, but caught a swift one right to my face. I stumbled back and glared, rubbing my cheek.
"Bitch!" I charged at her and gaver her a swift jump kick to the head, but as I came back to the ground, she tripped me and I fell flat on my back and smashed my head.
The world began to spin and everything was fuzzy. Shit. Looks like this may be the last fight for me. Better to go out fighing than actually die like an old hag.

Growling, Dru shout her neck out and dug her fangs into Faith's neck.

"I don't think so!" I brought my knees up and lifted her up, throwing her off and stumbling up.
"Back off now." I growled as I held my kneck. I can't believe I just got bitten. I feel, dirty. I walked over to where the vampire threw the knife and picked it up, spinning it through my fingers.
"Had enough?"

"Yuck," she said, wrinkling her nose and putting a hand to her stomach. "You taste oily, all slimy blood and hate. As if little thorns are in your veins." Dru sighed, her vampire features sliding off her face so she looked human again.
"You're not worth my fangs," she mumbled, sounding disappointed. "And certainly not worth my time." Dru turned and began to walk away.
"See you later, icky-bloody-Slayer. Do say hello to B' for me?" she added with a slight grin as she began to turn the corner.
