(no subject)
So having said how fed-up and lonely I was in my last post-- like a whiny, over-dramatic bitch, as I seem to be quite a lot recently (sorry about that)-- things took a bit of a turn for the better. daunted_fury has added herself (coincidentally or otherwise) as a reader of my journal-- Welcome to you-- and I've also made a selection of new friends "in the real-world" which has made life a little bit more tolerable.
Unfortunately-- as tends to be the way-- I'm now bothered by something else. Our old friend finances' evil twin brother, tax. I pretty much buggered up my budgeting before I moved into my new place by neglecting to figure in the taxman's steely claw and now I'm trying to figure out how to even make it to Christmas on what I'm currently earning, bearing in mind my current outgoings... I wish there was an interesting or amusing twist to put on this situation, but mostly it means I can't afford to scratch my ass this month... I'm just hoping ebay and a pension rebate might at least ease the burden along the way...
