Noir
Today has been very self indulgent, all I did that was useful was go to Tescos, other than that I sat in the front room with Nadia watching Masury and Cheaters, then went upstairs and sat knitting while watching Cardcaptors and my new discovery, Noir.
It's a girls with guns anime, but definatly not what most of them are like, it's fairly slow paced, the action is stylised and the music is beautiful. I'm three episodes in so far and am really enjoying it, though it's a bit of a contrast with Cardcaptors!
The music I've been listening to over the last couple of days is much more mellow than usual, my New Town Kings CD arrived, and it's great, but more chilled then they are live. Also I copied the new Tiger Army album and a Howling Bells album off Simon the other day, I'm addicted to both of them though it's kind of strange not to be listening to lots of ska.
I'm knitting a scarf at the moment and it's going really well, I'm stupidly proud of it considering it's just plain knit, the easiest stitch you can do, but it is looking really good, I can't wait for the winter :)
