Okay so this is killer weird and out of nowhere. Ryan Viers, the guy who put together my computer, and a classmate of mine in two Physics labs and a Physics class- well apparently he got in a car accident and is dead. Just like that. I got an e-mail stating this at school (when I finally checked it today), and then I read it in the cnu paper. I'm completely astounded. Though its not hitting me full force. Deaths never have. When my grandmother died I didn't shed a tear- not because I was being insensitive or didn't care, cuz I loved her very much.... but simply because it just didn't hit me. Its like it never happened. The same goes with Ryan- I just feel like its some event that occured in a movie or something. Like its not real..... I hope he was saved..... I don't know if he was or not.
Last night, after closing at work I stayed up until 3:45 or so writing two papers for accouting class, and then had to get up at about 5:45 to get to work by 6:30, since I had to open this morning. Needless to say, I'm very tired. But the real kicker is that when I got into class I was informed that the papers I'd spent all night writing weren't due until Tuesday.... so I just stayed up for nothing. Oh well- at least they are done. If I hadn't gotten no sleep (double negative) last night then it would have been some other night where I did not get any sleep. And tonight will be another late night doing this project thing with Krentz.
My wife is not here!! She's apparently grocery shopping (she wasn't here when I got home but there was a message on the telephone) but its taking her an awful long time..... She's supposed to get off of work at 5:30 and its now almost 7:30.
To end on a light note, this lady today at food lion donated a dollar to the children's miracle network. When they do that, they get to sign a little paper balloon which we later hang up on the window or wall. She signed the paper like this:
Boo
Bee
Her husband pointed out that maybe that wasn't the best thing to put, since it might be misconstrued..... we had a bit of a chuckle over that one...
