Non sequitur
So the Emmy’s were today, and they’re filmed right across the street from our campus, and they thought it would be funny to block off every road that I could sensibly choose to walk on to get to campus (I tried to bribe one of the cops with a fresh apple, but that was a no-go). To make a long story short, my friends and I were beaten by the LAPD for hours, but then they said they were just messing with us out of boredom, and we all had a good chuckle at that one. Anyway, I thought that little anecdote pretty much sums up life in LA recently for me.
