Musical bombardment

Today, I recieved five or six pieces of music at once. It's all for the Spring Concert and Concert Percussion Festival, though, so there isn't much pressure. However, getting so much music at one time is overwhelming, especially when you already have two pieces you haven't even looked at yet. Tomorrow, the band might play that American overture-type thing, and if they do, all the percussionists who don't play on it will go and practice "Junk Funk," on which I play the cardboard box, wash tub, and shaker. I think this will be like "Moving" without the moving, if that makes any sense (which it only would if you saw or were involved in Percussion Ensemble from two years ago).
