I'm worn out and it's only the 2nd day of the month. I'm looking forward to some days off already and I just had my quarterly massage last Friday. I'm not quite sure what has me worn down, but I see the wave of work for me on the horizon and I'm a bit overwhelmed. The cold I have contracted hasn't helped either. Nothing but a sore nose and throat and sneezing today - I felt it coming on last night. I don't want to start the month behind the 8-ball since I was so gangbusters yesterday. If they could squeeze in another weekend day to the week I think I'd be good to go. How do people get it all done? I guess they do it one thing/day at a time. Something has to give - and hopefully I'll be able to pick the correct one out of my list of high priorities.
One of my goals for this month is to not get overwhelmed and paralyzed by the wave of things requiring my action. I need to figure out a way to weave in and out of work, home/family, and life without getting wiped out. It's possible with setting expectations, getting all the facts before action, PATIENCE, and trial and error. Sometimes you have to fail to find out what's going to work, but with enough skill I'll be able to balance Sonja, family/friends, home, fitness, work, PTA and personal time into my 7 day week.
It's been a rough start, but I think I can get there.
