I'm listening to Safe Now- soundtrack to the movie Crash.
For all those who haven't caught this movie, please do. That's all i can say. On another hand, I don't think I've been more confused/scared/stressed/fidgety/tired/annoyed in my life than I do right now, this whole roller coaster ride has had its downs and more downs. I don't regret the decision to specialise in fashion design, don't think i would ever feel that way....but I definitely know for sure that LASALLE-SIA COLLEGE OF THE ARTS has not exactly lived up to it's name of being the best of its kind in the region. Lecturers from some art college in Edinburgh coming down to Singapore to comment on how things are not run properly in Lasalle. Yeah, BIG surprise lad. The students wanting to leave, the ones from overseas regretting the decision of coming to singapore for the sole purpose of enrolling into this school, teachers wanting to leave...and all this mayhem in the midst of us trying to produce our final collection, supposedly having to be our best effort so far. I can't argue with that though, I'm trying my very best with this because I know that in the end, I'm leaving this school in less than a week's time and the only source which can make or break my own performance is myself.

Last weekend- ATTICA [free entry again I can't remember ever paying to go in...just love that place ], Ministry of Sound, Attica again, Ministry of Sound again and back to Attica Too. With the crew from SATS. Met the most random Swiss guy Thomas in the retro room [where the white dude with the hollywood hair smacked me with his hair and starts laughing coz it's so stupid], apparently the roti prata man thinks he looks like John Travolta but something which I can't comprehend. Maybe it's the eyes. Damn scandinavians with perfect looks....tho switzerland is not scandinavia =) Anyways he's back in Switzerland now, told me to email him but I dunno. Maybe I will, say hi, bye. TEMPORARY SATISFACTION.
Tuesday afternoon- had an impromptu photoshoot with Ima for her outfit from the final collection...and I REALLY emphasize on the the 'impromptu' bit here. Running out of school when she comes up to me and says "Hey what size are you?" and since size 10 is the standard dress size for models and the garments, she decides that she'll do a photoshoot with me coz her friend doesn't want to come out of the toilet without a bra on underneath the dress. I MEAN. that would just kill the design. WHATEVER. So I put it on for the fit, it fits just nice except at the bust, which is almost flapping all over the place. NO makeup, No hair done. We went out to this deserted stairways by the edge of the building and decided to have a random shoot there, mainly coz there would be barely anyone walking up and down so I don't have to care about flashing anyone =) Turns out, NOONE walked by that area that day...so it was all good. Not that I was uncomfortable, but I didn't want Ima getting pics of my tits falling out and having to photoshop out the unwanted portions haha.
Tuesday evening- ran off to ryan's place for a photoshoot for my garments [UNFINISHED but who's gonna be abe to tell from the pics?]. Cynthia was my model, LOVE her she's so good to work with, mainly coz of versatility. Brought my own makeup, props, garments, camera and thank god for good lighting at ryan's. I'm officially taking makeup as my 2nd option to fashion design, or maybe even sth that goes along with it. Apparently I can fly high if i become a makeup artist, coz im naturally good like that ;) Lol ok kidding.
