reflection on travels thus far...
europa thus far in quick summation--
paris
-lots of black
-no one makes eye contact unless absolutely necessary
-stay away from the tap water, and if you're mildly lactose intolerant (like me), the cheese
-crepes are delicious, whether made with nutella, or mushrooms and egg (although, i wouldn't imagine that one consisting of nutella, mushrooms AND egg would be nearly as good)
-most people speak a bit of english, but are only willing to do so once you've made an effort to speak french
copenhagen
-everyone rides bikes, and they have the right of way, so watch out, bitches
-friendly people
-EVERYONE speaks english
-they sure do love their statues
-they're very proud of their carlson beer

-the family we're staying with is like a second family to us, otherwise the swedes (self admittedly) are not generally friendly
-the water is crystal clear, and the air is crisp and extremely clean
-they love their ´´football´´ (soccer to us americans)
-traditional swedish food usually consists of lots of pork
-the language is harder to grasp then you could possibly imagine, even though they have just over ½ of the words we do
one more stop-stockholm-then back to paris for the night, and a long long LONG day of flying...which i am absolutely dreading...
