Melisande is on a mission.

It may not be immediately apparent, but she is, her blue eyes intent as she wanders the Mansion, alert, watchful. She has a job to do, and she's going to see it done. And done well.

After all, her life and her revenge are counting on it.

FitzChivalry having given her leave to take walks if she were careful, Phedre will be walking in the corridor, probably on the way to the library.

She's still weak and tired, and so she may not spot Melisande right away.

"Apparently," she replies. "How have you been?" Very polite, not letting on that she knows.

"I've been well enough, thank you," still perfectly polite, the scars skillfully masked. Of course, nothing she can do about the missing finger.
