1. What are you listening to right now?
The distant traffic of the Interstate.
2. How do you style your hair?
Kind of a part on the left, and mostly brushed forward. It's very short.
3. What are you wearing right now?
Black v-neck longsleeve T-shirt, jeans, and electric blue kneesocks.
4. What are you currently reading?
Nothing I haven't read before. Hopefully that Tintin book will come in soon.
5. Dumbest thing you've done this week?
Answered my cell while in a dressing room. I need to just send that thing to voicemail, honestly.
6. If you could go back in time where would you go?
Israel, in the time of Christ. Sure, I'd have no idea what he was saying, but I'd love to listen in on a sermon anyway. Or attend a first-century church service. I would love to hear the music.
7. Theme song playing in the background as you die?
As I die? Probably "Abide with me." A guy at my church passed away while his family was singing his favorite hymn to him, which is probably the best ever way to go.
8. Last thing you bought?
A purse. Brown. Slightly larger than my old one. Took me months to find one I liked that wasn't, you know, $100.
9. What is your all time favorite movie?
If we're talking about a movie that just never gets old, I'd say O Brother, Where Art Thou?
10. What is your weirdest habit?
Probably just the fact that I hold long, involved conversations with myself in the car.
11. What is your favorite color?
Red. Any shade except that orangy one.
12. How much money do you think you are worth?
My life insurance policy says $10,000. I'm not gonna argue.
13. Do you have a catchphrase?
Either "very cool", or "Dude, yes."
14. Which languages do you wish you spoke?
Low German, 'cause Grandpa would be flattered. High German just 'cause, Spanish for the usefulness, and Hebrew and Swahili because they are gorgeous.
15. What is your biggest pet peeve?
Parochialism/elitism. That is to say, when people believe that the segment of society that they belong to is better than every other.
16 What's your ideal weapon?
The sword. 'Cause, dang it, it's a sword.
17. Who was your childhood idol?
My parents. Really honestly.
18. Funniest movie TV quote you've ever heard?
This is the only line I ever heard where Amy and I actually had to stop the tape and rewind because we were laughing so hard. Unfortuantely, you have to know the character and the show's history to really get it. From Stargate SG-1: "Ethon"

Dr Jackson: Not until I'm dead. [pause] And sometimes, not even then.
19. If you were in a band, what kind of music would you play and what instrument would you want to play?
Bass guitar, both times. It's easy, and I just think that low bass harmony is cool.
