Last night we discovered that Annie, relatively new to Geek Night, has never seen Firefly.
See, we'd spent much of the evening helping Mary look at wedding dresses (and for Amy and me, trying on bridesmaid's dresses, and which, astonishingly, we succeeded at, 'cause we didn't seriously think we'd find anything that looked good on both of us) which was much fun and exciting. Then when the shop closed, we retired to Trudy's place, and were deciding what to watch, when Trudy mentioned Firefly and Annie said she'd never seen it.
So of course we watched the first episode. I mean, honestly, Firefly! Quite possibly the best sci fi ever to find its way to television. And I hadn't seen that first episode in ages and ages, so that was fun. And we think Annie liked it.
Church and lunch and a hymnsing tomorrow. Sounds like fun to me.
