not fully comprehending
I just needed to put this down, I'm not really sure what I'm feeling.
My uncle had full liver and kidney failure today and is in a coma from the toxic shock due to the overdose of amonia in his blood. He's already been taken off of life support because it's not doing him any good, and they're saying 2-5 days left.
I knew this was coming, I think I was the only one who fully expected and understood what was likely to happen when he was diagnosed with a failing liver a few months ago. He was waiting to be put on the transplant list...but you have to be alcohol free for 6 months before you can even be put on, and it's only been 5.
and I feel guilty for drinking, because that's what he is laying there dying from.
