1.What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before? Graduated college, moved to a new state, got an apartment, started graduate school, went caving, and other cool things I've forgot about as well as some things I don't want to remember.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I'll go with yes because I didn't make one last year. This year is to make good choices and have few regrets.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? Amy Jo! and 2 cousins
4. Did anyone close to you die? No, almost though.
5. What countries did you visit? I think Ohio qualifies as another country.
6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006? More confidence in myself and my decisions. Knowing that I can do this graduate school thing, and that it is the right choice.
7. What date from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? April 9th -- Senior Farewells. April 22nd -- Graduation. July 9th -- Moved to Ohio. September 21st -- Taught my first class.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Graduation.
9. What was your biggest failure? A bad decision that has continued.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? Illness
11. What was the best thing you bought? Pablo-kitty.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration? Missy always, Jon for being there every time I crashed, TM for being a wonderful friend, Autumn for kicking my ass into gear, Chels for being there no matter what, Joshua for taking care of me when I was sick and lost in Ohio, and everyone else who supported me without question.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? Myself, for some decisions I have yet to accept, and others that can't accept that what's best for one individual may not be for another.
14. Where did most of your money go? My apartment.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? Graduate school acceptances.
16. What song will always remind you of 2006? J-Tim bringing Sexy Back. yeah...I have to agree with Missy here
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? Happier in some respects, sadder in others.
ii. thinner or fatter? let's not go there. that's a whole nother issue
iii. richer or poorer? Actually, richer, somehow.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of? I'd like to say no regrets. But I wish I had taken advantage of the time I had with people I never see anymore.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of? Crying.
20. How will you be spending Christmas? With my family.
21. Did you fall in love in 2006? I wouldn't let myself.
23. How many one-night stands? One to many.
24. What was your favorite TV program? Gilmore Girls. Also, Food Network in general. Greys, and I've taken to Studio 60.
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? No.
26. What was the best book you read? I've read too many to try and figure that one out.
27. What was your greatest musical discovery? I know they’re pop culture, but I love the voice of the guy from The Fray(Agreeing with Missy again here). And my sister's random music choices that I would never hear otherwise.
28. What did you want and get? An acceptance letter, a degree, a filler job, a car.
29. What did you want and not get? An acceptance letter, still holding out the jury on some other things.
30. What was your favorite film of this year? Recent one that I can remember-- Stranger than Fiction.
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? 22. I went to the bar with friends, much better time than the 21st bday.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably satisfying? People being held accountable for their actions, even myself.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2006? Casuel, completely unconcerned, overly concerned.
34. What kept you sane? Running. And my few true friends I can talk to.
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? Oh Johnny Depp, always.
36. What political issue stirred you the most? Mid-term elections.
37. Who did you miss? my close college friends.
38. Who was the best new person you met? My people from Ohio that didn't hate me simply because I'm from Michigan.
