Not dead, just inconsistent + novel + schoolwork + new fandom
Spoilers for all of season one of Orphan Black below cut
Okay, once again, not dead, I'm just really terrible about updating. I've been busy with schoolwork, and my novel, and tons of other writing projects, and also Tumblr.
Alright, so, I finished season one of Orphan Black, and, um, wow. I don't think I can wait until 2014 for the next episode. First of all, Tatiana Maslany is an insanely talented actress. The fact that she can play so many different characters and somehow manage to make all of them feel like unique, three-dimensional human beings despite the fact that they all look alike is amazing. Not to mention the fact that the whole storyline can totally be read as an analogy for government ownership of female bodies and the lack of autonomy women are given in today's society, AND OH MY GOD TATIANA EVEN KIND OF ACKNOWLEDGED THAT IN AN INTERVIEW AND JUST LIKE THIS WHOLE SHOW IS SO AMAZING. Also, I'm shipping both Cosima/Delphine and Paul/Sarah so hard. Paul/Sarah especially, which is funny, because originally I hated them together (mainly I thought their whole romance was kind of useless, but now that I look deeper into it, it's actually pretty interesting). And also, Cosima/Delphine, because canon science girlfriends, just so many feelings.
I'm going to start watching Teen Wolf, so I'll give my opinion of that pretty soon.
All in all, I'm going to try to post more often, but my muse is a finicky and unreliable little fucker, so I can't make any promises. But I do want to keep in touch with you all, so, yeah...
