Yes, I'm posting a lot tonight. Hopefully I'm not spamming too many of you. :)
Title: About a Girl
Pairing: Jack/Syd
For
30_kisses There was definitely something, Jack mused with a smile, about having a gorgeous girl walking round his apartment in nothing but one of his red shirts. On the rare, extremely rare, occasions when neither of them had anything to do, no job calling them insistently and demanding their full attention, Syd usually spent her mornings, and sometimes most of the day, at his apartment and they simply chilled out - Jack not at all averse to having Syd strolling round his apartment in nothing but a shirt, especially with her blonde curls falling down her back in an unruly mess and her face free of make up. As far as he was concerned, she looked better without the make up anyway, just glowing with a purely natural beauty.
As she headed towards the beaten up sofa currently gracing his apartment he grinned and, before she could react further than suddenly looking wary, he lunged forward and yanked her down. Syd yelped as she landed awkwardly on his lap, sprawling across him in an attempt to get some balance and Jack took full advantage, smirking inwardly as she relaxed into the kiss. The internal smirk was only slightly dimmed when she swatted his arm a moment later and pulled away to level him with a mock-stern glare.
“What?” he asked innocently and she sighed.
“You’re impossible.”
Link to table And the second is a surprise pairing that may send me to fanfic hell. ;) I wrote it a while back and it shouldn't be taken too seriously. :)
Title: Clearly Possessed
Boom scrambled round the table in the middle of the room, desperately trying to work out how he got into this kind of mess. If anyone had told him that morning that he would have been cornered in lab 5 and kissed by Sky Tate he would have called for the psychiatrists, because they would clearly be quite insane. Therefore, when he found himself pressed against the wall by a clearly possessed Sky he was understandably surprised.
Like most people around the base he’d looked at Sky and more than once. Also like most people round the base, he’d come to the conclusion that looking was all it would ever be. Sky was remote, out of reach. Only the other members of B squad could claim to know him well, and sometimes even they didn’t know him as well as they thought they did. He’d only caught a few glimpses of the man behind the unapproachable mask and that was a number he could count on one hand, with fingers still remaining.
Sky had walked into the lab, voluntarily and for no reason Boom could come up with, and made… small talk, before apparently giving in to something and pinning him to the wall, kissing him like he actually meant it. After a moment of stunned shock Boom pushed him away roughly, backing away around the table. “Possessed!” he yelped and Sky frowned in confusion.
“What?”
“Possessed!” Boom repeated, waving his hands in the air. “Possessed!”
“I am not possessed.”
“Yes, you are!”
“Boom, I’m not possessed.”
“Brainwashed then!” He had to be. Sky Tate would have no possible reason to do any of this if he was in his right mind. Not with Syd and Z on his squad. Or Bridge, if Sky swung that way, which apparently he did. Or there was Jack, even if the former red ranger was no longer SPD.
“I’m not brainwashed, either. Boom, you don’t have to be afraid of me.”
Yeah, and if he wasn’t convinced that Sky had been replaced by some crazy, possessed, brainwashed personality, he might actually believe that. He continued to keep his distance.
“Boom,” Sky said patiently. “I’m only going to say this once, so listen carefully alright?”
Boom nodded and Sky acknowledged that with a brief nod of his own.
“I am not possessed, nor am I brainwashed. Been there, done that.” The red ranger stood in the middle of the room, arms folded, making no move to get any closer to Boom than he already was, which was both a relief and somewhat disappointing.
“Of course not!” he replied brightly. “Not possessed. Because you normally make a habit of kissing me.”
Sky made a frustrated noise before throwing his hands up in the air in exasperation. “Boom! For the last time! I am not possessed or brainwashed.”
Strangely, Boom was starting to believe him, the exasperation was 100% Sky Tate. No one else had mastered irritation the way the former blue ranger had. “Okay,” he said, a little more calmly.
“Okay?” Sky gave him a blank look. “All of a sudden you believe me?”
“You wouldn’t be that irritated if you weren’t you.”
Sky stared at him, his expression going from blank disbelief to stunned bemusement. “So… you believe I’m me because I’m irritated?”
“Um… yeah.”
Sky stared at him for a long moment, blinked slightly, then burst into helpless laughter.
