That was so cool, Archer seemed a little off to me when he was freakin' out about his friendship with Trip. He seemed to be taking it a little too personally, but I may just be missing hte point becuase I have seen like, the first season and then snippets ever since.

Trip seemed pretty bang on, but the grammar was a little to perfect for me. Maybe it's just a preference thing, but I like to see his dialogue with some "in' " and not many "ing". Does that make sense. All in all, BRAVO! *Liks U again*

Okay, as for Archer, in the episode, he was more hurt by the fact that Trip disobeyed his orders to not interfere than by the interfering itself. At this point in the series, he was starting to accept the non-interference stuff, but wasn't totally sold on it, so it's both counts that have got him pissed, but the disobeying more. It's like Trip betrayed him. Download the ep, it's harsh at the end when Archer tears into him.

Trip's grammar, it's just the way I write. It always bugs me when people try to write Trip phonetically. A preference thing.

In my opinion, an educated person with a colloqial speech pattern will not write the way he speaks. Even though this is an transcript of a dialog and not written language, per se, I would feel uncomfortable with trying to recreate those speech patterns in writing.
