Depends on what you view as minimal. It can be minimal colours, minimal in terms of small, your interpretation :)

A question about the emotions - should it be 5 different emotions, or can you have duplicates? My episode has a ton of grief and not much else, so I thought it might be nice to have 5 different characters experiencing the same emotion, if that's allowable.

Could you please explain black and white with red all over? Is that like where red is the only colour?

Yep! The icon can either be entirely black & white with a couple of lines of red or the red could take up half the icon, however your feel :D
