Title: The Past Is The Present And The Future Is New

Summary: Molly Hooper never expected to find out that her good friends Rory and Amelia Williams had traveled through time and space. She also hadn't expected for a man who looks exactly like Sherlock Holmes to end up pulled from an alternate universe and unceremoniously dropped in her bedroom the same night. She definitely hadn't expected Khan Noonien Singh to take up residence in her home for an extended period of time. She certainly hadn't expected the dangers associated with having a Sherlock doppelganger in her life while Sherlock was off trying to dismantle a criminal network. But most of all she had never once expected to fall for her unexpected houseguest. Funny how life works out sometimes.

Any other author's notes/warnings: Set between "The Reichenbach Fall" and "The Empty Hearse" for Sherlock, pre-"Star Trek Into Darkness" for Star Trek and after "Dinosaurs On A Spaceship" for Doctor Who, just to give you a general idea of when it's taking place.

Thank you! It ballooned into an actual Big Bang story by the time it was finished, which surprised me. Hopefully it will be the start of a really interesting series.

I will probably combust with squee if it turns into a series, I found his character so fascinating and wanted mooooar and Molly's a sweetheart, so this just sounds like everything I ever wanted and never knew I needed! \o/

I know. I was quite pleased.

I've started the second fic already. It's mostly Khan and Rory, and it involves them being forced to spend time together without Amy or Molly around and the realization that while they might be friendly they will never be friends. I also plan to have Kirk, Bones and Uhura end up in the past as well, because the second movie never happened so they have no reason to hate Khan at that point. I'm sure I can come up with multiple reasons for Khan and Kirk to get pissy with each other, though.

I just wanted to let you know I dropped out of the challenge because I didn't know if I'd have interent access whenever the new posting date comes up, but the first story is here, as well as two others. Possibly a fourth if I can finish it in the next four hours. I hope you like it!
