Any other info: So this is has somehow changed from my original idea to the above fandoms fused with Pacific Rim basically what would happen if certain people from those fandoms were Jaeger pilots or involved in the program.
My name is Ianto Jones and I remember when I was a small boy my dad would take me out to look up at the night sky and I would listen with awe as he told me fantastic tales of other worlds that existed out there and whenever I could I would look up at the stars and feel a little less lonely, wondering who or what was looking back. I had no clue that I was looking in the wrong direction.
It's funny for centuries humanity had been looking towards the stars looking to see if there was life among them and wondering if they were looking back down on us, we had no clue that we were looking in the wrong direction, that they wouldn't come from the stars but from below.
I was sixteen at the time and I along with everyone else will ever forget the day that first one rose from the Pacific sea and ended up on the shores of San Francisco, it was unlike anything we had witness before, by the time the tanks, jets and missiles managed to bring it down it had been six days and thirty-five miles, three cities destroyed and tens of thousands of people killed when it was finally stopped.
Like always we mourned the victims, built a monument to the memory of the attack and we got on with life.
We thought it was over, that this was a onetime event.
We thought wrong.
