Any other info: no idea if this is what I'll use in the end. I think I've made it too complicated for myself... I have another simpler, more fantasy oriented idea that I might pick up instead.
Neither Sam nor Dean had manifested their abilities straight away, but within the first two years they were reading and writing hard code as easily as they breathed; typing, coding and decoding with inhuman speed. They’d kept it a secret at the time, but with the way such strange skills had begun popping up all over the place, it wasn’t long before their family and friends had become suspicious. Dean had been eighteen, Sam barely fifteen, when they’d packed what they could carry and had slipped away in the middle of the night. That had been five years ago.
"Shit," Sam cursed, wading through the lengthy signal one of their friend’s infiltration groups had fired out. Dean was right, it was big. "Man, how can they-"
"We knew it was going to happen someday. Goddamn evil fuckin' overlords - they might like to hide themselves away behind government walls, but they can't keep ignoring the Underground forever."
"Yeah, but, this is their first direct attack. If they push that code through the net… fuck me, every independently operating computer out there is gonna be in danger. We'll be screwed!"
Dean paused a moment before a wicked smirk slipped onto his lips. "Not if I get in first."
"What? Reckon you can stop it that easy?"
Fingers tapped out several obscure phrases on the keyboard, and Dean looked back up at Sam, a gleam in his eye. "I've already got the antidote, Sammy - I'm just that good. I've sent it to both our systems but now that it's live…"
"Yeah, I know... They're gonna be comin' for us, Dean."
