BSG ramblings: Is Kara good for Sam?
Since the debate about the Kara/Lee/Sam usually centers around Kara and her monster stack of issues I shipped Kara/Sam for almost a year before I even thought about this question. Its takes me a while to put my thoughts into written form but here a few reasons why Kara is good for Sam I came up with. Kara actually is just as accepting of Sam as he is of her, for one a lot of women would have been seriously threatened by Jean but not Kara. Kara actually gets why pyramid is not "just a game" to Sam, its even something she loves too. Sam thrives on competition and Kara gives him plenty of that. Sam is good at handling people and with the wrong partner that could be a serious fault but with Kara its a virtue. (If you don't believe just watch Taking a Break again). Sam is someone with a larger than life personality and Kara has one to match, there aren't many people who would be big enough to really compliment him.
