Holy Frak is right. My Gods that was a roller coaster of a first episode, but I shouldn't have expected any less. BSG always delivered on that front. I love this show, beginning to end.. or future end.
And this episode was no different. I mean, I was yelling 'No, no, no!' At the screen when Dee pulled the gun. And just about the same when Kara found the cockpit of HER viper.
The whole websode thing is still unresolved with Gaeta.. I thought they would hint at something he's supposed to be doing, but maybe they are leaving that for later in the series.
The reincarnation thing is a twist that I kinda like and I think Ellen is a red herring. I'm thinking..what if.. since the 13th tribe was cyclons, they somehow devised a way to have themselves reincarnated at home, maybe to try and prevent the cyclon/colonial war.. but fracked it up because they figured it out too late.
Kara may or may not be a cyclon.. and that's another theory since she came flying back..
Leobin freaking out was kinda funny considering the situation and the fact that he's supposed to be the truth seeker among the cyclons.
The reversal of Adama's role with Ty is weird.. and heart wrenching to watch, which I think was the point.
And isn't Deeanna supposed to know the last of the five?? Four came forward, but she still isn't talking about who the actual fifth is. Just because she's not telling doesn't mean she can't have given the audience a hint with something.
Anyone think it's weird that Gias didn't have much more than a bit part in this first episode considering how heavy they have leaned on that character through all three seasons?
Well anyway - just some comments I guess. Very happy with the first episode back, but I think they made us wait way too long for it. *grins* Looking forward to next weeks!
