Seriously...why would you do this to me? I haven't watched all season, I haven't even watched last season's finale...and then you do this and now I have to watch the series finale. Damn it!

Aw bb...On the one hand, I'm sorry you now feel like you have to watch but on the other, I would've been REALLY pissed if we didn't get at least one more glimpse of the alt!world before the end of the series. Though, if we get that glimpse only for those characters to die, I will never forgive the writers. (I still haven't really forgiven them for killing my boy but this would be even worse.)

I would tell you my thoughts about the finale but they could be potentially spoilery for this season so I'll let you decide if you want to know my random theory/wish for the last episode :)

If they kill off Alt!Liv or Lincoln...I think I'm going to cut someone. Or set something on fire. You don't even know. I'll never really forgive them for alt!Lincoln :(

Go for it! I have no idea what is going on so it's not like you'll be ruining anything for me :P

[click and be spoiled?]So...pretty much since a certain death in episode 4, everyone has assumed that the season would end with one giant re-boot/re-set. Like...Olivia saves the world and destroys the Observers and shit gets reset to a pre-Observer-dominated world. I would be INCREDIBLY shocked if this DIDN'T happen, especially given another major death in the last episode...but who knows... )

Well look at that fancy new spoiler button LJ has!

Dude - I very much wish that S3 reset thing were to happen, but I agree, I think it's much more likely that they'd only go back as far as changing Etta's fate. God forbid you bring back Peter's other kid or reestablish the alt!verse.

I feel like, either way, my characters will be shafted or ignored...that just seems to be the way of things these days on Fringe. I honestly don't care about Peter/Olivia anymore so that story will likely not do much for me.

I enjoy that new spoiler thing. It's pretty much the only change LJ has made lately that I actually like.

I still care about Olivia (Peter, not so much though I don't NOT care about him, either? I'm very neutral about him.) but I have no doubt that things will turn out okay for them so I'm not worried about their fate.

Ugh, poor bb!Henry. I will never understand how it was okay to erase him...

I cared about Olivia until the writers made her willingly forget everyone/everything for Peter...that really hurt my appreciation for her character. Maybe she got better this season? I wouldn't know. I don't hate her, I'm disappointed in the writing OF her.

Right?? Ugh...and then to name the new kid Henrietta...

That was where the show really started to lose me, though it didn't make my feelings for Olivia lessen as I decided it was totally OOC and only happened because the writers prioritize Peter/Olivia over all of Olivia's other relationships. Which made me not so fond of the writers but I still love Liv.

And that trend continued this season. Not so much in 'Peter/Olivia trumps everything ever' vein but in Olivia not getting the writing she deserves. She's been very passive all season, which made sense in the first few episodes because they were all following Etta's lead given that they were in a totally unfamiliar world but the fact that Olivia is still basically sitting on the side-lines REALLY pisses me off.

I'm actually fine with them having the same name (I think it could've been cute, especially if they were raised as half-siblings) but I loathe that Henry had to never be born in order for Etta to exist.
