Being the thief that I am, stole this from
xfirefly9x. It's basically me listing favorite/least favorite/old favorite/possible future favorite ships and then answering specific questions pertaining to those lists. I mostly kept my answers limited to science-fiction/fantasy shows...but when I couldn't think of any other ships or there were ships that I really wanted to add, I included them.

NOW ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS:
1. Why don't you like 11? (Simon/Kaylee)
Aside from the fact that I dislike both characters, together I find them to be too much of everything: too sweet, too awkward, too puppy dog-ish. Kaylee turns into a wimp and Simon turns into an idiot when they're together. To me at least, that's not appealing.
2. Do you know anybody who ships 13? (Elle/Peter)
I know people who like them together...but I'm not sure if I know people who actively ship them. I've seen vids, so clearly there is a portion of the fandom that does actively cheer them on.
3. What would be your ideal circumstances for couple 3? (Daniel/Vala)
Mostly what I am seeing now but perhaps with a little bit more romance to it. In my wildest dreams I would like to see them get married and then see how they would be able to work within the team dynamic. Would anything change between their interactions?
4. What's your favorite episode of 1? (John/Aeryn)
Oh, gosh, there really are so many! I would probably say "Die Me Dichotomy" for the sheer angst factor that goes on in that one. But in the end "The Peacekeeper Wars" will probably be my all-time favorite for giving me what few, if any shows have given me: a genuinly happy and complete ending for the ship.
5. Since when do you ship couple 6? (Sheppard/Weir)
Since I watched the whole first two seasons right before "Sateda" first aired in season 3. I went into it thinking Sheppard/Teyla was the couple to beat but then Sheppard/Weir began to grow on me. I liked seeing the conflict and eventual respect and closeness that developed between the two over the past 4 seasons (well, 3 really).
6. Why did you stop shipping couple 8? (Derek/Addison)
Because I grew to L-O-A-T-H-E "Grey's Anatomy." Why? Because it took every worthwhile character and made them entirely unlikable. The only one I liked before tuning out was Addison...and it soon became apparent to me that she deserved a hell of a lot better than Derek.
7. You have the power so that one couple doesn't exist. pick either 10 or 12. (Derek/Meredith or Kara/Anders)
Oh, how can you ask me something like that?! I truly believe that Derek/Meredith is the worst couple on television...but since I stopped watching GA long ago it doesn't bother me as much anymore. Kara/Anders on the other hand I am forced to sit through on a weekly basis. They also stand in the way of one of my favorite couples: Lee/Kara. So I suppose that despite my complete and utter loathing of D/M, I'd have to put Kara/Anders (12) on the chopping block.
8. What do you prefer, 2 or 4? (Brennan/Booth or Lee/Kara)
Ack! Tough call...do I pick healthy and funny or frakked up and angst-ridden? I think I'll go with the former: Brennan/Booth. There is just something so affectionately lovable about these two together. I really can't get enough of their interactions. They can be hilariously antagonistic but also wonderfully supportive of each other. I think I love them more with each episode (last week's being a prime example of that). Lee/Kara, no matter how much I love them, make me want to rip my hair out sometimes!
9. What interests you about 14? (Sarah/Derek)
I think the actors have nice chemistry and I find the history between the two characters interesting. Plus, the idea of the "one big happy family" with Derek, Sarah, and John is cool.
10. When did you stop liking 7? (Buffy/Angel)
Probably a couple of years after "Angel" started. I liked Buffy/Spike a lot more...and I began to see that Angel could be more fun and less broody all the time given the right partner: Cordelia. I think it's because I've *mostly* gotten over my "tragedy + love = cool" teenager phase.
11. When you lost interest for 9, did you lose interest in the series? (Merrin/Jack)
Yeah, I actually did. They were the big draw of the first season for me...seeing their relationship progress. Then Jack's character deteriorated and I lost respect for Merrin. She took him back and stuck with him when I felt it would have been better for her to have moved onto someone who wouldn't jerk her around so much. Since that show is based almost entirely around relationships, that romance's deterioration took away most of the draw of the show.
12. A song that reminds you of 5. (Mal/Inara)
"The Scientist" by Coldplay. Mostly because the first video I ever saw for them was to this song and I can never forget it. It's permanently attached to that ship for me.
13. Which ship do you like the most?
John/Aeryn. They were the most consistently well-written couple of the group. All of the others had their ups and downs and moments of insanities...but no note between these two ever rang false to me, and I never hated either character at any point for their actions. They still remain my favorite television love-story.
14. Which one do you like the least?
Derek/Meredith. When I think of these two I think of a whiny, lying, self-riotous, adulterous, and needy ship. Those all apply to this couple for me.
15. If you could make two of these couples have a double date, which one would you choose?
I guess it would be Daniel/Vala and Sheppard/Weir because that would be my Stargate dream double-date. Daniel and Weir have a history together, a friendship that I think would be nice to play. Also, if things go badly I could always get my Sheppard/Vala ship out of the deal ;)
16. Has the second couple kissed yet? (Make it up if you'd like) (Brennan/Booth)
I don't need to make it up! The S3 Christmas episode gave me (and the rest of the "Bones" fans) Brennan/Booth's first kiss. It was nice, but the adorable Christmas tree scene at the end of the episode made me melt.
17. Did 4 have a happy ending? If the series isn't over, do you think it'll end well? (Lee/Kara)
Um *cough* no. As much as I hope for Lee/Kara to finally be happy together at the end of this season (and the end of the series), I have a nagging doubt that that will ever happen. One or both will likely bite the dust before all is said and done...my only hope is that they get as good of a send-off as say...Wes/Fred on "Angel" did.
18. What would make you start shipping 13? (Elle/Peter)
Probably just some more substantial scenes between them. Perhaps seeing some more vulnerability from Elle and some kindness or understanding from Peter.
19. If only one could happen, which one would you choose, 2 or 6? (Brennan/Booth or Sheppard/Weir)
Brennan/Booth. The whole show is built around their relationship, it would be unfair to cheat the audience out of a fruition to all the flirtations and shared romantic moments. Brennan/Booth ARE "Bones"...the show can't go on without that ship. SGA can survive the loss of Sheppard/Weir (although it doesn't look like it's doing so well these days). I'd love to see Sheppard/Weir have a happy ending...but I've never counted on it happening the way that I have with Brennan/Booth.
20. You have the power to choose the fate of 12. what would happen to them? (Kara/Anders)
Anders dies. What? I'm sorry, I've really grown to hate him. I'd like to see Kara completely and utterly realize how little she cares for him, to have their relationship end with no lingering feelings left (like Lee/Dee). I'd like to see Anders maybe sacrifice himself for humanity in some sort of dog-fight...maybe have one of the other Cylon's kill him for failing to join her/him...or perhaps have him kill himself. Nothing too heroic...but nonetheless ending with him being dead :p
