Huzzah! I finally finished my ao3vidders video for Daniel/Cameron (SG-1). I won't lie, this one was a bit of a struggle...what with two characters who seem allergic to sharing scenes and a style of music I wouldn't choose for myself

This is amazing, babe! The parallels you found were just extraordinary and it was such an interesting way of vidding Cam/Daniel. Plus, they're both so darn pretty together :)

Thanks! Although, I'll admit, the angle was partially determined by what I had at my disposal...which is to say, not a lot of C/D clips. I had originally intended a wild AU slash vid - but I think this suits them better :P I'll save that cracky vidding for someone else....

Nor am I, to be honest. I was given around three songs...all of them country :P The closest I usually come is pop-country like Taylor Swift or some Rascall Flatts songs.

Stunning! Not a style of music I associate with Stargate, but you've made this so bittersweet and poignant that I'm totally drawn in. I love how you've implied their first love is adventure and the next set is the women in their lives and then how they find a brotherhood in where they find themselves now.

Once again, you've made an utterly amazing vid!! *high fives*

Also, I think I recall talk about how they weren't allowed in too many scenes together because they looked so similar and they thought people would get confused. Also why they had to wear different colored uniforms for scenes where they were together (blue vs green). Was that something said at a con or was than just fans being weird?

I think that was what the actors said at a con or in an interview...or on a commentary. Something. I remember that being said and one of the actors/writers being like WTF? :P
