Happy Hallowe'en from the desk of Sara Dhooma
I really like Hallowe'en. It is my favourite holiday (especially since I am an atheist and it doesn't directly involve religion).
At work today I am wearing my Stargate Atlantis uniform. No one knows who I am. I don't care because I like it. :P
Tonight I am going to the club with some of my coworkers. I am wearing Little Red Ridinghood (same costume as Ad Astra) but minus the big red high heels (because they hurt my feet) and the corset top (because it is not comfy). I am really looking forward to dancing.
Something scary:
Syria has been in the news lately. Last Sunday the US helicopters flew over the Iraqi border and attacked Syrian civilians. Syrians are in an uproar (understandable) and there have been riots in Damascus at the US Embassy. I'm glad I'm not still traveling there in case I would have been mistaken for an American.
