omg the office!!!!!!!
I've been neglecting watching the office because a) I can only afford 1 hour of TV per week and b) I've been watching project runway every week buuuuut I just watched the first episode of the new season and yay yay yay! Don't tell me what happens next because I will watch more tomorrow.
Last weekend was a pretty perfect weekend. Had a wonderful dinner on Friday and then got drunk and watched Star Trek II the Wrath of Khan with Jonnie which was quite awesome. Then on Saturday J and I took a nice hike around Marin Headlands and got some great views of the ocean and the city. Good times! THEN Jonnie roasted us a whole chicken, made stuffing, and cooked us artichokes for dinner. I love having a boyfriend who cooks. I will happily do the dishes. Then we watched Star Trek IV the return of spock which was quite hilarious because they all go back in time to San Francisco in 1980something and are all quite ridiculous.
Yes, call me a trekkie but a weekend full of nerdy movies, lots of wine, good food, and a good hike is one of my favorite ways to spend a weekend.
Unfortunately it all has to come to an end sometime... teaching lab is slightly hellish, classes are boring and stressful (I had to re-take some upper level physics courses and they are extremely not interesting), and our apartment is a complete mess because neither of us have had time to clean. Plus Jonnie is sick and I BETTER not get it because I have midterms in two weeks.
Next semester is looking up though, I've talked to a couple of professors about the possibility of doing research with them and I'll be taking at least one grad elective (hopefully plasma physics!!!!).
Well that's it for my bi yearly lj update! I should stop procrastinating my E&M homework...
