Round 3: Information
RULES
- You must be signed up to participate in this round.
- The challenge will be closed roughly at midnight EST on the 20th. I understand that everyone lives in different time zones and have different lives, so if you think you can get them in by midnight EST on the 21st and inform me of this fact in advance, I will hold off closing the round so you can get your submissions in. If you can’t get them in by 24 hours after the deadline and/or if you don’t let me know before the deadline passes that you’ll need me to hold the voting for you, voting may go up as planned without you.
- Icons should be: no more than 40kb, 100x100px, not animated, PG-13 at most, new and made specifically for this challenge, made by you.
- Icons can be posted here or linked to at a journal/community of your choice. Posts must remain public until the round ends.
- Icons must fit your claim.
- Please tag your posts with the following format: entries: round one, participant: yourname, round: one, claim: yourclaim
- If you would like a participation banner, please say so in either your post to this community or the post with your icon table.
- Post with 3 teaser icons.
- Please, try to comment on each others posts!
POSTING ACCESS
Posting access has been given to everyone who signed up. If for some reason you cannot post, let me know.
THEMES
1. Borrowed Phrase :: This icon must have a phrase notably used in a different show, movie or book. For example, if you had a claim that is not The Wizard of Oz, you could use the phrase “No Place Like Home” or “Wicked Witch” on your icon. The story you use a phrase from does not need to be scifi or fantasy.
2. Clothes :: This icon must showcase character’s clothing in some way.
3 Good or Evil :: Show characters being especially good or evil.
4. Love :: This icon should show characters feeling love. It doesn’t have to be romantic love- it can be familial or close friend, whatever you want.
5. Memory :: In this icon, somehow interpret the concept of memory. How you do this is up to you.
6. Nature :: This icon should have nature in it in some way. It can be any planet’s nature.
*7. Punctuation :: This icon should have one or more of sentence ending punctuation. !, ? or . are all acceptable. Other text is fine, too. Examples below.
**8. Side :: The focus of this icon should be sharply to one side or the other.
9. Warm Colors :: The coloring of this icon should be mostly warm. Yellows, oranges, reds are all good.
10. Work :: Show a character doing his or her job.

For your category set, make 5 icons that show why you love your claim. You can be as interpretive with this theme as you’d like!
ARTIST'S CHOICE
This is pretty self explanatory. Create 5 icons of anything from your claim that you want, anything at all.
Have a handy copy/paste table. Just fill in the urls of your icons where it says to in ALLCAPS.
