I got a personality test on my doorstep back in December 2005. I live 2 blocks away from the local Mission. I had always meant to go in and check it out but was too "busy", but the OCA gave me that little push. I was inherently drawn to Scientology and found that I agreed and understood a lot of the data quickly. I took the Ups/Downs course, Comm Course, and Personal Values/Integrity course. I've been on staff as the Book Store Officer since February. I love enlightening people and suggesting books/audio to help them with life. I also LOVE interacting with the public, giving the "stress test" with the e-meter, doing surveys, and other public activities. I will be a Class V auditor someday and I'm working my way up the bridge (did the Life Repair and Drug Purification Program, working on starting the Grades soon).
2. Who was instrumental in introducing you to it?
Beings of my past, and the wonderful people at the Palo Alto Mission.
3. Do you believe that Scientology has improved your quality of life?
No... I don't "believe" it... I KNOW it.
4. If you could ask L. Ron Hubbard one thing, what would it be?
"Do birds fly?" :-)
5. How old were you when you first got into Scientology? How old are you now?
Not quite sure. Was probably called something else a long time ago. I'm 31 present life.
6. Has Scientology improved your quality of life?
YES. Can better handle life situations. Happier, more present in reality. Career, friends, relationships. Better communications skills and self-control. Improving every day!
7. Lastly, what's your favourite book that L. Ron Hubbard wrote, and why?
First of all I think people should learn and APPLY the Study Tech booklet. Science of Survival is my favorite so far because it's very practical in every day use (still need to finish reading it though). The State of Man congress is awesome.
