[Javert appears as composed as he usually does, a grimace on his face. Thankfully, he can understand exactly what Naomi Hunter is saying. Perhaps the translation effects, as he heard is the case, are in full effect again. He arches an eye brow at the young woman, his mouth pressed thin and firm.]

You are still surprised by illogical events. Bad habit in this place.

[She's a bit surprised that she can understand him perfectly (instead of just his broken English), but there really are more pressing matters at hand.]

Yes, I suppose so, but I fully believe that every action in this place has a meaning behind it, just like the real world. These events aren't just programmed to appear randomly. Something or someone has to start the wrecking ball.

[He flashes a grim smile, a narrow glimpse of teeth.]

Or it is subject to a pattern, but no. It is not random.

A pattern? [Well, he does have a point. And while something as grand as this has never occurred before, the woman would be lying if she said strange things didn't happen all of the time.]

[Javert casts a dry, dubious gaze at Naomi. When does he not have theories? His grimace curls. This isn't exactly official information. In fact, it is highly public, if anyone cares to notice it.]

It is simple, I think. Consider the start of these incidences. When did this last one begin? Last week. The end of the month of fevrier. Languages were no longer spoken with fluency.

...The costumes inside of the castle. And- [She gasps. As scientifically as she'd be looking at every angle and every detail, the simple idea that all events happened at the end of the month as opposed to the beginning had completely eluded her. It may not have provided that much real data into the case, but it was a good place to start.] And the murder. Of that ghost girl, correct?

[There is a stretch of silence. Javert inspects Naomi's face like a scientist would a specimen.]

[She stares right back, an arm crossed over her chest.] Yes, I'd nearly forgotten. You wanted me to have a look at the medication you had found, right?

[He maintains that unsettling stare, and a chill passes between them. It's as if the hollows of his eyes have grown darker. His tone, however, is deceptively flippant.]

They were already identified by another doctor.

[It would be hard for her to miss that look, but thankfully, she has no idea what's caused it.]
