Dream [001] Canon Update
The long, heavy jacket did almost nothing to shield her small body from the cold.
Arms wrapped around herself to trap in as much heat as possible, Naomi sat silently, watching her breath appear periodically in the freezing air in front of her. Even with the addition of gloves and a thick scarf, the doctor was unable to stop her teeth from chattering.
Shadow Moses... How strange to be sitting inside the very room where her brother had been killed so many years ago. To this day, the woman was glad that she had been indisposed of at the moment of Frank's death. If she been in communication with Snake, listening to her older brother valiantly give up his life for the soldier... To hear the sickening noises of his metallic body under the large tank's foot... There's no telling what she might have done.
A bare, sinuous arm suddenly wrapped around her middle, pulling her backwards slightly as an accented voice hit her ears. "My Queen?"
Peeking over her shoulder to the tall Romanian man, Naomi was unable to suppress a small shiver. After waiting so long in the cold hanger, the woman was starting to feel numb all over. Her dark-haired head shook ever so slightly. "It's nothing, Vamp. Only thinking."
Perched behind her, the man snorted. "Thinking of that ridiculous dream again?"
Somarium... It had all seemed very real, but logically how could she come to accept it? A dream world. How completely ridiculous. It had been nothing but an extremely elaborate dream. Maybe even the byproduct of eating something past the expiration date.
"Perhaps." Her arms tightened around herself as she leaned back towards the man. He may not have provided her with any warmth, but resting against him would help ease her mind. Closing her eyes against the cold, Naomi found the numbness setting in rather quickly, her mind's troubles slowly fading away as she buried herself further into her jacket for warmth.
