So I take it that you know little Alice very well.

I know all my students if I can. It's wonderful to meet you Doctor Naomi. Alice's teachers have been made aware of the situation, however, there are matters that will need to be handled once she gains a new legal guardian. The poor thing.

Is there anything I can help you with while she's within in my care?

We do need an emergency contact until she has a legal guardian.

My husband and I are more than happy to take up that position for now, but list me as the primary. I'm much easier to contact.

As well as can be expected, sadly. I'm doing my absolute best to keep her distracted, but the poor thing is in too much pain.

It's understandable with the losses so close to one another and she's just so young. I know she is very fond of the gardens on the Academy property, you're both welcome to come to the gardens if you wish. The security guard knows she is a student there.

That's so incredibly kind of you to offer. I think we'll have to take you up on that later in the week.

Take the time you need, I am just sorry more cannot be done for her.

I feel the same way, but she will make it through. She's strong somewhere inside.
