I feel like I've been kicked in the head. Working over time on some of this research and reading so much is really killing me. I can't think straight.

But science doesn't stop for anyone.

I am determined to figure this out. Template is "back to normal" I suppose you can say. [Mutters some] At least my boss doesn't notice me any more ( Read more... )

needs more science, research gone wrong, research, science, headaches, needs more snackoos, scientific investigation

[Here, have ANOTHER pile of blankets.]

Been a while, Ema. And where I'm from, magic sure does exist - though I think we've already discussed that. [Snuffle. Yes, ill Sunny has a cold, why do you ask. |D]

[Laughs some] Nice to see you too Sunshine. I believe we have had this conversation before... It must have slipped my mind.

Looks like I'm back in square one. [sighs] Say it sounds like you need some tea as well.

It happens. Slipping the mind, I mean.

Really? That would be awesome, thank you.

Yeah it sure seems that way. I should probably get some rest before staring again. Scientifically speaking it's actually bad for your health if you work as excessively as I have.

Of course! What kind of tea would you like? I stocked up on some good Japanese Green tea a while ago.

...Scientifically speaking, you say? [She grins widely.] Great, now I have some kinda backup the next time I tell Kazumi to not work so hard! Thanks.

That sounds nice.

[Smirks some.] Scientifically proven through medical research. If I had the documents I would provide them for you for further proof. Though it never worked on Mr. Gavin...not that he works anyway.

Wonderful! It shouldn't take long. Why don't you come downstairs to the kitchen? Beat's laying around in a whole bunch of blankets.

Any chance of locating said documents? I really don't want him to make himself sick by overdoing it.

Down...Uh, where's your place again? [Second level. Different house. ... Leave it to Sunny to remember/forget some odd things when she's sick |D]

I could look into it for you. I'm sure that there has to be some research about that particular issue in the library. If all else I'll find myself a pair of scrubs and pose as a doctor for you. I know basic elements of the human anatomy being a forensic scientist in all. What has he been doing lately? Anything out of the normal routine? [Totally adjusts glasses over face and pulls out notebook.]

Lawrence Street; Pschent House. How about I come to you with tea? If you're sick I'd rather you not out and about.

The usual routine is what he's been doing, probably, and that's what I'm concerned about. He doesn't seem to notice time passing when he gets to the computers...hopefully he's gotten better about it, but I don't know for sure. If he hasn't - and after getting injured like that, too... [She sounds worried. Very worried. Feel free to poke at the weak point if so inclined, Ema. |D]

Eheh...All right then. I learned my lesson already. Caravaca House, Master Street.

Well lets see... has this injury been recently sustained? If he is injured the fact is...that he may not heal as fast as he wants to if he's focusing all of his time on his routine. You may want to move the computer away form him or him away from the computer. [small pause, glances at Sunshine] Have you observed his behaviour recently? Is it normal for someone to be so obsessed with computers when it's not part of their science.

[another pause] ...You're worried about something else other then that are you? What's up?

I'll find my tea and come over in a bit.

He'd better be relaxing; he might be a computer fan, but I know he's responsible enough to not overdo it in this state. Hopefully. And I can't be over there 24/7, different houses and all... And, well, I think he's always been a computers person, not a science person. [...as if the two are mutually exclusive.]

...if I hadn't gotten into a fight, it probably wouldn't've happened. That's all there is to it.

Sure. Don't rush or anything, okay?

You're sick, Sunshine, but if there is a way to watch him then I'd recommend it. [Smiles some] How about this, seeing as I haven't caught what you have I could drop by and check up on him? Maybe it'll help him out some.

[Bites lip some] What did you fight about? Or did you get into a physical fight with someone? .... Sunshine what happened?

Of course not. I'll dig up some other things to help you get better.

I think he'll get on my case if I go by again...sure.

It wasn't a fight with him, it was with somebody else on the second level and - well, some people showed up to help me out, Kazumi too, and somehow this guy focused in on him...and then the rest of us got put on ice. When it went away, they were gone and the rest of us wound up sick. [Loooooong exhale.] ...think I needed that.

Hey, don't overdo it yourself, all right?

Of course. Just let me know where he is and who he is and I'll do what I can...that is if he allows me to help at all.

[frowns] Oh geeze and you guys are all sick because of this? Well if there is anything I can do to help let me known. Sounds like you guys had one rough time.

I'll try not to. If anything I'm sure Treble will eat my research or something without me knowing.

tickingshadows November 17 2008, 03:06:35 UTC
...Come to think of it...maybe that's a bad idea. His housemates will probably help out, anyway. From what I know, they seem to be nice people.

Yeah. Thanks for the offer, but from what I know, we just need to rest.

[Trebl-- oh, the dog! Laughs a bit.] Aww, that's right, the dog. Hee. I'm surprised Treble hasn't already done that. Maybe work stuff tastes bad?

Well I can't say I didn't try and offer right? If he does need something and you are incapable I don't mind being your runner.

If that's all you need then that's always a good thing.

[Laughs some as well] Who knows! At least I know Mr. Gavin's shoes taste good. So if he tries to eat my research I'll out him into Mr. Gavin's closet again.
