Hypothetically speaking, suppose that you were a new arrival to this City, and that you were handed a guide to explain your predicament.

Beyond the following, what would you like to see in said guide?

An explanation of the fact that time stops back wherever you came from would be helpful.

I see. A reassurance that your world's events will not continue without you.

It would smooth away the worry of absence.

Sure would. It's pretty much a pain to get sucked here while you're in the middle of a fight and end up wondering if the world is ending when you're not looking.

I imagine most people would find such an idea unsettling, yes.

...Hmmm those are all good. It's almost hard to choose...but I would like to know more about the reassurance, medical availability, the curses.

Also information on the dieties, monetary explination, living and dying in the city would need to be covered so a person can get a better grasp on what they're getting into while living here.

I see. I will take such in to consideration, most certainly.

Thank you.

No problem...though a list of residents lacking morals would also be nice to have. In case there are people who arrive that are a bit too trusting.

Warnings. Yes, that would be prudent.

If there is a map, maybe include it? Maybe a brief rundown of what is known of the City's history?

I see. Along with the guide, a map. Along with the explanation, a history.

That is, if it doesn't get too cluttered then.

I imagine it would be better for it to read too long, than too short.

Apart from what has already been stated, it would be wise to expand on the nature of varying time frames.

The possibility of parallel universes, alternate realities, and the existance of more than one of a single being.

As well as the nature of persons one knows being from before or after the "present" we perceive.

I see.

Precisely.

I shall see to it such is included. A grievous error on my part, to have overlooked a sub heading that explained such.

You forgot the part about people leaving and coming back at random and not remembering a thing.

I shall see to include it, thank you.
