Ornery pokemon are probably attracted to just as ornery--or horrible, trainers. I should hawe expected this, considerin' who it came from.

The trainer could be to blame. Or maybe it just didn't like how you were talking to it. They are sensitive like that.

[Though "sensitivity" and "Eridan" aren't really two things she would put together.

Omanyte's longer pair of tentacles wiggle into view. He's happy for whatever reason and KNOWS WHEN HE FINDS A FISH OKAY. This could be a good thing or a bad thing.]

[She glances down and then proceeds to pick him up! Stupid googly eyes and tentacles wiggling all over the place, Borvo gurgles to the 'Gear.]

This is my Pokemon. Well, one of them. I suppose he would be called my "starter". He is one of the more friendly types, I think.

[She really can't tell if Borvo likes him or just wants to eat him later on. We'll see when he evolves.]
