(no subject)
Less than two weeks to go but it feels like FOREVER. I am sooo over being in Adelaide. It is hard trying to find things to do with Brody every day. We can't stay home all day every day. We'll both end up with cabin fever and he doesn't have many toys here so there isn't much for him to do here anyways.
Scott went back to Roxby today. He starts night shift tomorrow night for 5 nights so hopefully the baby doesn't come early while he isn't here.
We took Brody to a play cafe today and this little boy, probably around the same age as Brody, pushed Brody and then hit him the face. I went and told the boy off - said "That isn't very nice, do not hit him" and then went and said to the mother - the responsible party given this kid was two - who was sitting with her back to the play equipment, so not even watching out for her son's safety, gossiping with a bunch of her friends, "your son just pushed and hit my son in the face. Perhaps you should supervise your child!"
Then later, the same little boy hit Brody with a toy train he had. Scott happened to be there and told the kid to fuck off lol ad scared him a bit. Mother was still sitting on her fat ass not watching her child.
Another kid screamed in Brody's face, scaring him. What is it with these little fucking shit kids?! Brody is a very shy, passive boy and he honestly did nothing to either of these kids. I wish I knew how to help him stand up for himself. Other kids just seem to sense he'll let them walk over him. It really upsets me.
So sad about the triplets from NZ that died in a fire in Qatar :(
